Today is a day dedicated to remembering all of our lost babies... Please keep Ashlyn Terese and all of the millions of other children lost to miscarriage, prematurity and neonatal loss in your thoughts. We also lit a virtual candle for her that will burn for 48 hours.Today I feel sad....but I mostly feel lucky. Because God saw fit to bless us with our incredible son. There are so many women out there that have to leave the maternity ward empty handed, only to return home to a nursery that they so lovingly and excitedly prepared. While the loss of Ashlyn hit us hard, we still got to return home with a beautiful, healthy boy. Even though I will use this day to remember our daughter, I don't want anyone to think that I am not grateful for our son....
