We gave JD his first rice cereal this evening. At first he wasn't too sure about it and mostly scrunched up his nose and spit it out. After about 20 bites he started to get the hang of it and the LOVED it! He even let out some squeals of delight while grinning from ear to ear.
He did great with learning to eat from a spoon and, while most of the cereal was on his bib, I believe we did get some in his belly! Here are a few pictures... Dave actually videoed the whole scene but we're between computers and the video editing software hasn't been loaded to the new computer yet. I'll post the video as soon as I can!
