I was planning to wait until Friday to take one of JD's diapers in for testing but ended up doing it today instead. He was up pretty much up all night, extremely fussy this morning and when he finally pooped at 9:30 there was a lot of blood. More than I've ever seen in any of his diapers.
Dave stopped home shortly after JD pooped and stayed with JD while I took the diaper to the pediatrician's office. They tested it and confirmed that it is blood that I'm seeing. They said they would fax the report to the specialist's office in Columbia today. In the meantime, I also called the specialist's office in Columbia to let them know that the report would be coming over and to have the doctor call me and tell me what the next step is.
I don't expect to hear from him today...and definitely not tomorrow... but hopefully he'll call on Friday evening (if their office is open on Friday). I'll be sure to post as soon as I hear from him.
