We're still here... waiting patiently. A big Thank You to all who have sent texts and emails and left messages. It's good to know that so many are thinking about us these days. Allison is still snug and comfy. Probably doesn't want to come out because it's so dang cold here these days!
As of this post, I am 4 days past my due date but, as my mom keeps reminding me, I was a week late so maybe it's something that runs in the family. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow morning. I've had some indications that labor *might* be around the corner but you just never know. I just hope I'm a little more dilated than last week! I'm still sleeping pretty comfortably (considering) and I'm not miserable or anything, just big. And the anticipation is almost too much to handle! Dave and I are dying to meet our little girl, as I know a lot of other people are too.
Luckily, Dave had a lot of vacation hours built up that he needs to use so he's been home with JD and me most of this week. JD is a good boy and is pretty calm when it's just the two of us here at the house but I know he's enjoyed having Dave home to run around with, especially since it's been so cold outside and we've been cooped up in the house! Today is warmer (I think it's about 41 degrees outside right now) so the boys are running around in the back yard. I looked out the window and saw the scene in this short video. JD loves the mower that Nanny and Poppy sent him for Christmas. He loves doing anything "just like Daddy"!
