Allison is two weeks old today and had her first real bath last night. She wasn't exactly a fan the way JD was during his first bath but it wasn't too bad. Actually, I think JD cried more than Allie did (as you can see from his red eyes in the picture below). He kept trying to climb into the tub with her! Allie started out screaming but once I put the washcloths over her she seemed fine. After the bath was a different story. She screamed so hard her whole body turned red. She was just cold, though and once I got lotion on her and her jammies snapped up she was fine.
Tonight JD had a first.... He was getting pretty grumpy while I was making dinner so we stripped him down to his diaper, put him in his high chair and let him finger paint on his tray. He loved it and didn't make as much of a mess as I was expecting!
