As I stared down at Allie's face in the hospital at about 3:00 AM I remembered a photo that my mom gave me when JD was born. It was a picture of me when I was just 2 days old. The resemblance is kind of striking. Dave calls Allison a mini-Kristy, which pleases me because JD is definitely a mini-Dave! She did get her long slender fingers and her big feet from her daddy, though!
So that explains why she now has the nickname "Mini-Me".... which has now been spun into both "Mini" and "Little M'Nee" which is what my dad used to call me when I was a baby!
