1 Year Pro Pics

I've been trying to take JD to get his 1 year pictures made since his birthday. But now that he's learning to walk he always had a bruise on his forehead. He got up this morning and I realized that he had no bruises today!! I didn't have an appointment but gambled that Picture People wouldn't be busy on a Tuesday morning and JD and I headed to the mall.

They were able to take us right away and JD did great! Normally I bring my mom or Debby with me to help me make him laugh but we didn't have any issues. He sat there and smiled and clapped the whole time!

Before we move on to the rest of the pictures I just have to brag on him a little bit. He's just getting so smart! When he woke up at 5:45 this morning I gave him his bottle and brought him into our bedroom so he could play with Dave. JD was sitting on the bed and I asked him what a dog says. His response was "arf arf" as usual. Then I asked him what a duck says. He whispered "ack ack" as usual (not sure why he whispers it but he always does).... then I thought I would throw him a curve ball. I asked him what a car says... to which he answered "Vvvvvvvv", which is the car sound he makes any time he's pushing a toy car, sitting in his stroller or sees an actual car. He didn't even miss a beat! Mommy was so impressed.... Daddy was pretty excited too!
