Yesterday we attended a birthday/graduation party at a friend's house. Just so happens this friend has a pool so, of course it was a pool party! JD loves, loves, loves to swim. He had so much fun, I even had him jumping off the edge of the pool! Allie seems to like it just as much. She spent a good bit of the day yesterday crying (and driving me nuts) but once I put her in the water she was as happy as she could be! Looks like we have two little fishies in the family!
The fun didn't stop after we got out of the pool and changed. The friends that hosted the party have 4 girls. The oldest just turned 18 but the youngest is 4 so there were plenty of toys that needed to be played with! JD had lots of fun playing with pocketbooks and baby dolls... while Dave supervised from the couch!
This morning Dave finished building one of JD's birthday presents: a swing to go with his fort! JD loves to swing. In fact, when we go to the playground he would rather swing than climb or slide! He was so excited to see a swing in his very own back yard. Our plan is to add a baby swing for Allie in a couple of months.
There's nothing like a little naked swinging in the late afternoon.....
