Happy Father's Day!!!

I consider myself the luckiest woman alive to have found and married not only a man that makes me laugh, loves me with all his heart and supports me in everything I do, but also a man who has become one of the most loving, involved, fun and outstanding fathers I have ever known!

So we stayed pretty busy this weekend. JD's friend Walker is feeling better now so we went to his postponed birthday party. If you remember, Walker and JD share a birthday but Walker was sick last weekend and not only could he not make JD's party but his own party had to be postponed. But he's better now and boy did we have fun at his party!  Here are a ton of pictures from the party:

The birthday boy, Walker, on the left, Peyton in the middle and JD on the right... three peas in a  pod. They all looked so cute wearing their "hard hats" at Walker's construction themed party.
Peyton spent a lot of time pedaling this giraffe....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY WALKER!
Haha... When I asked JD in the morning if he wanted to go to Walker's party, his only response was "CAKE!"
With all of the toys that Walker had to play with, JD kept escaping to see Ribbie, Walker's dog, who was in the laundry room. Dave sat on the floor for a while trying to keep him out of there!
He just loves dogs. He had fun sharing the toys with Ribbie!
Yeah. See that shovel in JD's right hand? About 2 seconds after I snapped this picture he got up and made a run for the cake. Dave caught him just before he dug in with the shovel!
He loved this tunnel. If our house was bigger I'd get him one. He thought it was just great!
Meanwhile, Allie snuggles up to my friend Abby (Peyton's mom).....
Promptly conks out.....
And takes a nap in the birthday boy's crib!
While Allie was napping we all headed outside. The amount of outside toys that Walker has is amazing! They live on a cul-de-sac so there were plenty of "cars" to ride on!
JD was happy to discover that Walker has the same mower that he has.... something about the familiar!
Dave sent him down the driveway on this car quite a few times. Don't worry, Michael, Peyton's Daddy was at the end to catch him!
And then the wagon was discovered. I just love this picture of Peyton, JD and Walker...
And this is my favorite picture of the day. Walker and JD had so much fun riding down the slightly sloped driveway in the wagon!

JD was worn out when we got home and went straight to bed! When JD woke this morning at 7:00 we busied ourselves in the kitchen making "cancakes" and bacon for Daddy's Day. Then we went outside and I filled JD's kiddie pool (or as JD calls it, his beach... he calls all water that he swims in the beach) so he could swim while Allie napped. Later we went to Costo to get some king crab legs for dinner (Dave's choice).

My parents arrived around 4:30 and JD was very excited to see them and play. JD loves Grandma and Papa and keeps them both very busy when they come over.

Dave introduced Allie to a sippy cup today... she's not a fan.
Allie liked sitting on JD's little 4-wheeler....
She even liked when JD gave her a ride!
Papa had his hands full when he got here. JD is slightly addicted to Papa and didn't like that my dad was giving Allie attention....
More 4-wheelin fun in the back yard...
Allie likes to ride on Dave's shoulders and play with his ears. It's quite funny!
So, that's our weekend. I don't have much planned for this week. No family in town, no special days to celebrate, etc. My mom will probably come up one day this week and help me shop for Allie's 1st 4th of July outfit... have I ever mentioned that it's one of my favorite holidays?!?

One last little note: HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT DEBBA!!! We miss you!

I'm just sneaky like that, Abby!
Thanks, Brooke. Feel free to steal any of the party that you want!
And I'm super excited about heading to the beach with the boys too. I've decided that you both need to quit your jobs so we can play more often!
