2 Whole Months!

Yesterday Allie turned 2 whole months.... we're just having so much fun with Nanny and Poppy in town that I didn't have time to post her picture! Life has gotten easier around this house. JD seems to finally be adjusting to life with a baby sister. He no longer tries to use me as a jungle gym as I'm nursing but seems content to play by himself on the floor beside me or bring me books to look at with him. He is also sleeping better now and going down for his naps without a fight.

Allie is doing OK. She still has blood in her stool but isn't having as many screaming fits as JD used to have. Perhaps because it has only been a couple of weeks where JD had tummy problems for over 4 months? I have now cut dairy, soy, fish, eggs, nuts and beef from my diet and the blood is still there. It's so frustrating to see blood in her diapers after I've done so much to remedy the problem. Her 2 month appointment is tomorrow and I look forward to discussing it further with her doctor.... I am NOT, however, looking forward to her shots. I think the 2 month shots are the worst. She's so little and helpless. I cried at JD's 2 month shots. Hopefully I'll handle Allie's better! I'll post again tomorrow evening with her height, weight and head circumference as well as with some pictures of Nanny and Poppy entertaining my kids!
