JD just took his first two steps!!
After dinner we went out in the back yard to play a little. He was walking behind his toy and stopped. So I stooped down a few feet away from him and held my hands out, just out of his reach. He squatted and crawled to me... so we tried again.... and again... and again! On about the fourth try he started reaching instead of squatting and he actually took two of the tiniest baby steps I've ever seen but his feet definitely left the ground and there was definite forward motion!
Dave, of course, was in the shower. When we went back out in the yard to show Daddy, JD, of course, refused. Maybe we'll try again tomorrow evening.
He's still far from walking but I can't believe he actually took two steps!
