11 Months!

JD is 11 months old today! How in the world will we have a one year old in just a month? Birthday plans are in full swing and JD learns more new tricks every day!

I thought of a few more things that he now does: He gives his Daddy high-fives and just yesterday he finally figured out how to tilt his head back and drink from his sippy cup. Also yesterday he started saying "uh-oh" when he drops something or falls on his butt. It's pretty funny! The other thing he does that cracks me up is throw temper tantrums. If he's laying down he kicks his little legs and yells... if he's standing up he stomps his feet and screams. I try to not pay any attention to it at all but I have a hard time not laughing! In fact, one of the funniest tantrums I've witnessed happened just the other day. He has this little toy car that pops up and can be used as a walking aid. He pushes it all over the living room but he's not so good at steering it. When he pushes it into a corner and can't go anywhere is gets ticked off and screams while stomping his little feet until I come and turn him around.... it's hilarious!!

Anyway, the bear pictures are getting harder and harder to capture. He doesn't sit still.... ever... at all! He was all over the place this morning and I got the biggest smile when his Daddy held him upside down... of course. That's his favorite position!

It's so hard to believe that the next time I put him in the chair with that bear it will be on his first birthday. I wonder if he'll be walking by then....hmmmm??
