If you noticed the new ticker at the top of this page, I must say "Yep! You read it right!!"
Dave and I are expecting another baby on January 3, 2010! We've known for a couple of months, and we told our immediate families but we just can't keep the secret any longer now that I'm in my second trimester. Thanks to all those who knew and didn't tell. I know that was tough and we appreciate you respecting our wishes!
So far everything is going well. I've already had a few doctor's visits and heard the heartbeat. I've also already had a couple of ultrasounds. They did one right away to see how many babies were in there. With our history of twins they were thinking we might be expecting two again. But thankfully, there's only one baby this time!
I've been awfully tired. The exhaustion is overwhelming when you're chasing after a toddler so I've been napping during JD's naps. I must say, though, that the sickness hasn't been nearly as bad this time around.... and neither has the weight gain. In fact, I actually lost about 5 pounds initially!
So there's our news! JD is going to be a big brother!! We can't wait to welcome the new year with a new little one!

Congratulations! I think having two is fun. My girls are 2yrs11days apart, and they got along so well when they were little!
