We had a very fun day today! We drove down to my parents house in Pawleys Island for lunch and, after lunch, walked down the road to a neighbors house. Along the walk JD wore Grandpa's hat to keep the sun out of his eyes (that's an NC State hat for those who are wondering...).
At their neighbor's house Dave and I borrowed some kayaks and took advantage of the beautiful day! We spent about 2 hours paddling around in the Pawleys Island creek, getting some much needed (and enjoyed) exercise and sunshine! Yes, that is a cooler of beer strapped to the back of Dave's kayak! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for babysitting!
When Mommy and Daddy were finished playing around, JD got his very first Cody ride! For those of you who haven't met Cody, he's Uncle Kent's very cool dog! Both Cody and Abby (Grandma and Grandpa's dog) love JD and give him doggy kisses as soon as we walk through the door!
Now we're home and JD is conked out in his swing. Mommy is about to put him to bed and crash herself! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We have a pretty quiet week coming up so I don't know how much I'll post... I guess it depends on how much I decide to play with the camera!
