New Tricks!!

JD has some new tricks up his sleeve these days....

Dave was letting him stand on the examining table at the doctor's office the other day and he actually took a few steps! Sure enough, as the doctor was holding him JD decided he wanted to stand so the doctor asked if he'd started "walking" yet. We said he had just done it for the first time a few minutes ago. The doctor leaned him forward and he took a few more steps... This is now one of his favorite games!

Another of his favorite games has been talking to his toys. He's been doing this for a while. He just sits in his car seat (or bouncy seat or swing) and talks away! Well, now he reaches out for the toys. He can't actually grab them yet but does a great job of hitting them and making them swing.... He thinks this is just fantastic. He will sit there and smile and talk for a long time!

His other new development is mobile sleeping.... Last night, for the first time ever, I checked on him and he was in a totally different spot in his crib. He was sideways! And this happened twice! He used to stay in the same spot that I put him. Not anymore!

Lastly, now that he has better neck control, he actually enjoys tummy time for a little while. He has always been good at holding his head up but not this good! This pic shows how strong he is these days:
And one last picture that I took of him yesterday.... just because he's so cute and it's a good picture of him!

Oh My Gosh is he a cutie pie!!! I love this picture. I want to meet this little guy.

You have done a great job on this website. You have inspired me to do one for Chase. What a great way for family and friends out of state to keep up.
