Playdates with our two favorite boys!

This is going to be one picture-heavy post!  Recently we've had two very fun playdates with Peyton and Walker. A couple of weeks ago Dave and I had them (and their parents) over for a cookout and today we met them (and their moms) ON THE BEACH!! Yep, beach weather is officially here!!

Let's start with the cookout. I'm just gonna jump right in a post pictures. I'll use captions where I think explaining is necessary.

After food and lots of fun on the four wheeler, we gave Brooke, Patrick and Walker their going away cake. They are moving away :-(  Not far but not just down the road anymore....we also gave Brooke a photobook with pictures of the boys over the past 2 1/2 years. Stupid thing made me cry but it was a wonderful idea and Abby did a great job putting it together! Brooke, Patrick and Walker, we have had so many fun times since the boys were born. You have no idea how much we'll miss you guys!

Now let's hit the beach. Let me start by saying that this year looks like it's gonna be a great year, age-wise, for the beach. JD pretty much ran off with Peyton and Walker and didn't really pay much attention to me the whole 2 hours we were there. Can I just say that this arrangement is FANTASTIC?! Add to that the fact that Allie was content the first hour to just sit in the sand and play with toys and the second hour follow the boys around and I actually got to relax and have adult conversation on the beach today!  OK, now on to the pictures!
