JD is learning so much these days! As you can see from the picture above, he's learned that he can watch the world outside by peering through the windows by the front door. On this particular day he was watching Daddy do yard work in the front yard. He stood there for a very long time just talking away. I'm not sure if he was talking to Daddy or his own reflection!

JD has also learned that he can look under things. He looks under the couch, under his crib and even under his bouncy chair. Earlier today I left him in his room with Dave while I got dinner started. Dave asked me to close the door behind me so I did. Later, he told me that JD laid on his belly trying to look under the door for me after I left!

The other big lesson that JD is learning is how to share his Mommy. Today was Day #2 of keeping another baby. The little boy I'm keeping is just 3 months old and such a good baby! Makes me realize what a hard baby JD was.... poor little guy couldn't help it, he just didn't feel good. Anyway, JD is doing well. He's mostly just fascinated with the baby. Always trying to grab the baby's hands and feet and will stand and talk and smile to him for a long time! We did have one little tantrum today, though. I was giving the baby his bottle and JD pitched a fit. JD had just refused his own bottle about 5 minutes prior but I guess seeing the baby have a bottle made him want it! JD learned how to wait. Ten minutes later he happily sucked down 6 ounces (which is a lot for him).
